VIPT_2014 - multi-view sequences for color based People Tracking under Variable Illumination

about VIPT dataset

* VIPT_2014 contains three sequences in which subjects are moving around in an unevenly illuminated enviroment, using two directional light sources. First two sequences, training set 1 and training set 2, are used to learn uneven illumination in the room with two different subjects. In the test set multiple targets, with occlusions now and then, were used to confirm the performance of the proposed method. The dataset is recorded at 15 Hz, from four synchronized cameras with an overlapping field of view. Images have resolution 1024x768 and are stored in jpeg format.

Multi-view samples of VIPT_2014

* VIPT_2014 comes with camera calibration files: for every camera, we provide all the information needed to compute the image projection (pixel coordinates) of a 3D point. C++ code implementing this projection is provided.

Room dimensions, ground coordinates, and camera positions

* The ground-truth file contains people's ground positions that are manually annotated to support quantitative evaluation of tracking performance.
